Reiki This modality from the Far East is a wonderful set of tools for people to learn to heal themselves and others. This or "Healing Touch' are often the first healing modality that people learn. Reiki removes one problem many people experience that awaken to their healing energies. That is, taking on the energy of the problem they are assisting to heal from the other person. The healer then needed to spend time clearing themselves. With Reiki it is not the practitioners energy being used. It is the energy that they are attuned to. Some people call this the energy of Reiki Guides, higher dimensional energy or Angels. This makes healing others so much smoother for the healer. Tools: 1. Practitioners are attuned to the energy of certain symbols used in the healing process. 2. Students are taught to feel the energy of the person they are working on and what does not belong. 3. Students are taught components of our energy bodies/systems. 4. building self awareness. 5. Level II provides the Distant/Remote Healing attunement 6. Spiritual principles to follow are provided 7. "Reiki Grids" between practitioners can be created. These are energy connections that some refer to as "cords" 8. Removal of energies within you that are not serving you. 9. The Reiki Master Level is for people that want to become teachers or learn a bit more. Comments: Reiki was a wonderful "third" step for me, the heart River Healing school being the first. A modality that I cast aside was my second step. This modality helped put my heart back in line. There are Reiki Practitioners anywhere you go. For many people this is all they will ever need. Some people now have taken this and created new branches of Reiki. I learned the Usui branch of Reiki. The Modality is heart centered and I highly recommend it as a wonderful step on your journey. Tummo Reiki is one such modality. It also assists activating the Kundalinni smoothly. An offshoot of this branch is Kundalinni Reiki.
